25 Foot Tall Oak Trees to Move or Be Removed

When voters approved an expansion of the City’s Recreation Center on North Austin Avenue in 2004, no one was giving much thought to the oak trees around the building. But last year, after Heather Brewer was hired as the City’s urban forester, she began looking at the plans for the additions and parking lots, and discovered a problem.
